BIAL Award in Biomedicine 2023 Ceremony

The BIAL Award in Biomedicine 2023 ceremony took place on February 20 at the Reitoria da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and it was attended by the Minister of Health, Manuel Pizarro.

The Winner

A research work on brain tumour won the third edition of the BIAL Award in Biomedicine. The winning team was led by researchers Varun Venkataramani, Frank Winkler, and Thomas Kuner, from the University of Heidelberg, in Germany.
