BIAL Award in Biomedicine 2019 Ceremony

The BIAL Award in Biomedicine 2019 ceremony took place on March 3rd 2020 at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa, and it was chaired by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

The Winner

A research project on tumoral immunology, led by the immunologist Caetano Reis e Sousa, who leads The Francis Crick Institute Immunobiology Laboratory in London, won the 1st edition of the BIAL Award in Biomedicine.
