The docuseries “Beyond the Brain”, currently airing on RTP1 on Mondays at around 11 pm, involved scientists from institutions in 15 countries. These scientists have extensive experience, and their studies are widely recognised and cited by other researchers.
On average, each scientist has 163 publications indexed in Scopus, with their work cited approximately 7,000 times by other researchers. They have published in some of the world’s top scientific journals, including The Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, Science, and The BMJ, among others.
Among the scientists featured in the series are Steven Laureys (Université de Liège), Edzard Ernst (University of Exeter), Olaf Blanke (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), Gary E.
