He is a Leading Researcher in Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC), an advanced form of spirit communication through technology. He has authored or co-authored several books, including “Healing the world: And me” (1991), “Conversations beyond the light: Communication with departed friends & colleagues by electronic means” (1995), “Miracles in the storm: Talking to the other side with the new technology of spiritual contact” (2001) and “Spirit faces: Truth about the afterlife” (2006). In collaboration with colleagues from eight countries, he founded the International Network for Instrumental Transcommunication (INIT), a consortium of scientists and researchers that worked from 1995 to 2000, dedicated to building a reliable bridge to the spirit realm. In 2002, he co-founded the World ITC.
He earned degrees in Journalism and Electronics from Colorado State University and the University of Northern Colorado. He pursued postgraduate studies through independent research and in collaboration with the International Institute for Integral Human Studies in Montreal (Canada), earning a PhD in Therapeutic Counseling from the Open International University for Complementary Medicines in Colombo (Sri Lanka), in affiliation with the University of Arizona, College of Medicine (USA).
