Journalist

He is a Journalist, Presenter, and Writer. He began his career in 1985 at the newspaper "O Comércio do Porto". Subsequently, he collaborated with several newspapers and magazines, including "Sete", "Sábado", "Invista", among others, primarily in the arts section with a special focus on cinema. He Co-founded and Edited the film magazine "Cinemania". He also worked at “Rádio Comercial”, “Rádio Renascença”, “RDP Antena 1”, “Antena 3”, “TSF”, and Co-founded “Rádio Nova”. He played a role in founding Portugal's first private TV station (SIC Televisão). In 2009, he returned to the public broadcaster RTP. He produced the documentary "Mandem Saudades" about Portuguese emigration to Hawaii.

For many years, he was the Portuguese reporter authorized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to cover the Oscars, interviewing major movie stars, directors, and producers.

Currently, he hosts a weekly TV show called “Janela Indiscreta” dedicated to cinema and television and has authored several books on the entertainment industry.
