Konstantin Korotkov, PhD

Professor of Computer Science and Biophysics ITMO University, St. Petersburg

He is a Professor of Computer Science and Biophysics at Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO) University in Saint Petersburg (Russia), and a Senior Researcher at the Saint Petersburg Research Institute of Physical Culture and Sport. He serves as the President of the International Union of Medical and Applied Bioelectrography (IUMAB) and is the Director of Bio-Well Companies.

He holds 17 patents related to biophysics inventions and has written several books, including “Light after life” (1998), “Human energy field study with GDV bioelectrography” (2002), “The energy of consciousness” (2012), “The energy of health” (2017), “The energy of life” (2021), among others. He developed the Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV) technique, based on the Kirlian effect, and has successfully utilized this measurement system in the creation of the Bio-Well camera, a tool for real-time visualization of the human energy system.

He earned a master’s degree and a PhD in Physics from Saint Petersburg State University (Russia).
